BIG CLEAR LAKE NASA LEASE

NASA Project Attracts Lockheed Martin to Nassau Bay
Defense Contractor Leases Nearly 60,000 SF at 2100 Space Park Drive

Lockheed Martin Corp. signed a lease for 59,797 square feet of office space at 2100 Space Park Drive in Houston, TX. The Bethesda, MD-based defense contractor decided to set up shop across from NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Nassau Bay after it was awarded a contract to build the space agency’s Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle. Lockheed moved in this month. The company occupies two floors at the four-story, 115,878-square-foot Atrium @ Nassau Bay Building. It is 26 miles from downtown Houston in the Clear Lake submarket. Derrell Curry of Studley represented the tenant. Doug Little, Wade Bowlin and Erik Haugen of PMRG represented the landlord, Fund II & Fund III Associates, an entity of Wells Real Estate Funds II.
